EPEC is all-volunteer and independently member supported. EPEC promotes conservation, sustainable energy sources and environmentally sound technologies. EPEC supports non-violent approaches to conflict. EPEC appreciates the diversity of life on Earth and seeks to preserve it. EPEC opposes the forceful appropriation of natural resources that belong to others. EPEC opposes the development of weapons in space and of a new generation of nuclear weapons. EPEC provides a community of cooperation for individuals concerned with peace and environmental issues.
